Entry requirements
Candidate must have held a degree for at least five years before applying. Normally a graduate of University of Otago, or have completed substantial work in an academic/research unit of the University. Award is for published original contributions of special excellence in the appropriate discipline; only one Higher Doctorate may be awarded per individual.
