Entry requirements

Must hold unit standard 30072 (Prepare for & Sling Regular Loads) and evidence of 80 hours or 40 lifts of supervised work experience before booking Practical Assessment for unit standard 16617 (Truck Loader Crane). Class 1 licence sufficient unless driving/moving the truck, which requires the relevant class licence.

English requirements

IELTS 5.5

“all trainees must demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English, equivalent to NCEA Level 1 (High School ability to read and write english) or an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.”
