Entry requirements

Must hold a Class 3 learner's licence (held full NZ Class 2 licence for at least 6 months, current driver's medical, passed Class 3 Learner theory test). Must complete 24089 Worktime Logbook and Fatigue within last 12 months. Must provide a truck meeting NZTA weight requirements (combination >12,000kg, loaded to at least 50% payload) with a Certificate of Loading.

English requirements

IELTS 5.5

“all trainees must demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English, equivalent to NCEA Level 1 (High School ability to read and write english) or an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.”
