Entry requirements

Must hold a Class 2 Learners Licence (2L). To obtain this, must have held a full NZ Class 1 (car) licence for at least 6 months, provide a current driver's medical (unless supplied in last 5 years), and pass the Class 2 learner theory test.

English requirements

IELTS 5.5

“all trainees must demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English, equivalent to NCEA Level 1 ... or an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.”
