Entry requirements

Domestic: NCEA UE or equivalent CIE/IB (preferably 24 NCEA L3 credits in practical art/design/tech) or overseas equivalent AND a portfolio; OR completion of Yoobee's Diploma in Animation Level 5. Discretionary admission for 16-20yrs with significant Year 12 achievement or relevant foundation qualification plus portfolio/industry experience. Special admission for over 20yrs NZ residents with relevant experience and portfolio/industry experience. International students must be at least 18 years old.

TOEFL iBT 79

“IELTS (Academic) Test: Score of 6, with no band score lower than 5.5; TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT): Score of 550 (with an essay score of 5 TWE); TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT): Score of 79, or higher (with a writing score of 18); University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations: FCE or CAE with a score of 52, or higher; NZCEL: Level 4, with the Academic endorsement”
