Entry requirements

NCEA Level 3 or above and 20 credits at NCEA Level 2 or above, including 14 credits each in three approved subjects, UE Literacy and UE Numeracy; OR NZ Certificate in Apparel and Fashion Technology (L4), NZ Certificate in Fine Arts (L4), NZ Certificate in Digital Media + Design (L4) or equivalent. Also requires interview and portfolio (12-24 samples of creative work) plus Letter of Intent. International applicants must turn 18 within first year and hold equivalent NZ qualification.

English requirements

IELTS 6 (no band below 5.5)
