Must be 17+ at programme start and meet Teaching Council of Aotearoa NZ entry requirements. Under 20: University Entrance or recognised equivalent (IB, Cambridge), or demonstrate tertiary study ability (e.g. NZ Certificate in ECE Level 4). Over 20 without UE: demonstrate tertiary study ability, e.g. via NZ Certificate in ECE Level 4. Also requires literacy/numeracy competency assessment (TEC tool) and background police check.
