Entry requirements
Domestic applicants under 20 need a minimum of 42 credits at NCEA Level 3 or equivalent (suggested subjects: English, Mathematics, Biology/Sciences). Special admission may apply if not meeting academic requirements, especially for applicants over 20. Diving pathway requires enrolment in National Certificate in Diving (Foundation Skills) Level 3 or equivalent, plus a doctor's certificate confirming fitness to dive.
