Entry requirements

Applicants must be 16 years or over at time of commencing study (or 15 with school exemption). A passion for hairdressing, barbering, or makeup and skincare, and commitment to complete NCEA Level 2 is essential. Must meet all enrolment requirements as stated in the Enrolment Guide.

English requirements

IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5)

“Any applicant whose first language is not English may be required to provide evidence of an overall IELTS (Academic) band score of 5.5 (with no score below 5.0) or equivalent.”
